Umbrella

Umbrella is a home improvement and maintenance option available for older adults age 60+ with moderate income who are not eligible (i.e. based on low income requirement, high member-ship fee, waiting list time) for other similar resources listed on the attached Home Improvement Resource Guide.

Umbrella also offers an opportunity for older adults to increase their income ($16/hour) while sharing their talents to help neighbors who need assistance to age at home (minor home repairs, house cleaning, yard work, seasonal household changes).

In addition, Umbrella provides referrals to vetted local professional services for major home repairs - many with negotiated discounts for members.

NJV HUB Village $25/year membership (with other NJV HUB Village benefits) gives a discount on regular Umbrella membership ($199/year).
